Saldotecnica was born immediately after the war as a company specialized in the marketing of welding materials.
1970 Saldotecnica Ligure is born as a manufacturer of oxycutting equipment such as manual torches for shipbuilding.
1975 The turning point that leads Saldotecnica to become a leading company in the world of oxycutting, in fact, begins the design and construction of complete systems for in-line cutting of billets, blooms and slabs. In collaboration with the US company, UCC develops machines for cold and hot scarfing.
1976 Saldosider srl is founded as a completely independent company based in Taranto, Saldosider deals mainly with the development of the plant engineering operating as a supplier of Saldotecnica ligure srl which becomes a commercial player on the market.
1977 The first slab cutting machine is sold.
1981 The first gouging machine is sold.
To date Saldotecnica can boast almost 1000 plants sold all over the world, some of them still working after 40 years of operation.
In 2015 a corporate turning point led to a change, Saldosider was bought by new partners who changed the name of the company to Saldotecnica Europe and rented a branch of the company Saldotecnica Ligure, thus becoming an important reference in the field of oxy-cutting equipment in the steel industry. .
Saldotecnica Europe is a young and dynamic company led by a new sole director Mr. Luca Giusti who, coming from the technical sector with over 20 years of experience, restructures the company by replacing the key figures giving a boost to business growth.
A new operational director is hired by a new sales manager and a reference office is opened for the North East in Udine.
The new CEO's strategy will be oriented towards customer satisfaction and market diversification in order to seize different opportunities and expand the company's production capacity in order to foster growth by disengaging from critical suppliers and laying the foundations for total control of production and quality.
The DNA of Saldotecnica has its roots in the field of metalworking, from official representatives of Castolin (TM) we have subsequently signed an agreement for the production of equipment and machinery for ARMCO and Lincoln Electric.
Over the years' 60-'70 we have implemented our production with special equipment and machinery for heating, welding, cutting and scarfing. Today we are able to assist customers not only with our standard production, but also offering all the spare parts, structural work and mechanical parts.
Our company structure counts on an organized warehouse that allows us to respond to the needs of our customers in a short time. We can then count on two independent operative centers where precision machining is carriedon on our components and to a carpentry for our machines, the same are then assembled by us before shipment.
